Become a part of our Software Development team in Kamstrup
Kamstrup is a world-leading manufacturer of solutions for smart energy and water metering with production, administration and development gathered at the headquarter in Stilling, south of Aarhus. We are experiencing high growth and demand for our products all over the world and are therefore seeking a Scrum Master and Team Manager for our Software Development team.

Your role will be to work as a Scrum Master in one of four Scrum Teams. As a Scrum Master you are responsible for ensuring that Scrum is understood and enacted in your team as well as in the organization by securing adherence to Scrum theory, practices and values. With respect to the Scrum Guide, we continuously inspect and adapt with focus on improving the way we work. Our Scrum Masters also have direct people management responsibilities for the Development team, counting 7 members, so together with the three other Scrum Masters, the Program Manager and the Software Development Manager you take active part in our Management team. 

Scrum Master and Team Manager with focus on management and motivation
As a Scrum Master your most important task is to fulfil the role as a servant leader for your team and coach the scrum team towards being self-organizing and cross-functional. In combination with being Team Manager, you are also responsible for people management and team performance. You help those outside and inside the team understand, which of their interactions are helpful and which are not. Besides that, you act as a facilitative and coaching leader, who removes impediments if the team cannot do so themselves. As a Scrum Master and Team Manager one of your key priorities is to secure the motivation and synergy in the team, leading them towards being a high performing team.

More specific your responsibilities will be to:

Understanding and practicing agility and Scrum and facilitating practices as needed 
Helping the team to create high-value products 
Handling dependencies outside of the team 
Participate in our Scrum Master Guild, counting 10 Scrum Masters
Participate in cross-teams improvement projects e.g. Continuous Delivery
People management e.g. employee development 

Personality matters
You have a solid experience as a Scrum Master and experience in working with agile. Besides that, you have experience in working within a Scrum Team or similar frameworks.

It is a requirement that you:

Have a scrum master certification or similar
Understand the principles underlying agile methodologies and how to apply them in a team context
Know about the trends driving agile adoption and the benefits of an iterative and incremental approach
Are able to effectively facilitate agile practices; daily stand-up, sprint planning, review and retrospectives
Are able to apply agile principles and practices to build a real product

As a person, you are self-organized, and likes to create results in collaboration with others and you understand that most good results are created in cooperation. You possess strong communicative skills that enable you to communicate decisions and information to your employee. Furthermore, you like to take responsibility and you wish to make a difference. 

The job requires fluency in written and spoken English.
